1. Controller and contact

DeyNews is a digital product operated by Skeilapps SL. For privacy or data-protection questions, email info@skeilapps.com.

2. Data we process

We process only the information needed to provide and protect the service:

• Account data: email address, name, protected login credentials and, where available, profile image.
• Google or Apple sign-in data that you authorise. DeyNews never receives your Google or Apple password.
• Your business profile, sectors, interests, deep-dive topics and editorial preferences.
• Generated editions, related sources, saved stories, access status, language and display preferences.
• Purchase identifiers, store and access status. Apple, Google and RevenueCat process payments; DeyNews does not receive full card details.
• Technical, security and usage data, and optional analytics when you consent.
• Messages you send to support.

3. Why we use data

• To create, authenticate and protect your account.
• To personalise market intelligence and daily briefings.
• To save and display editions and preferences.
• To manage trials, purchases, support and essential service communications.
• To prevent abuse, diagnose errors and improve security.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases

Processing may rely on performance of the service you request, consent, our legitimate interest in keeping DeyNews secure and operational, or compliance with law. You can withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

5. Providers and international transfers

We use providers including Vercel for hosting, Supabase for authentication and data, Google Gemini for researching and structuring editions, RevenueCat for purchase validation, OneSignal for notifications, Apple and Google for optional sign-in and in-app purchases, and optional analytics providers where consent is given. Providers receive only the information needed for their role.

Some providers may process data outside the EEA under applicable adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses or other lawful safeguards. DeyNews does not sell personal data.

6. External sources

DeyNews links to publishers and other external sources. Their own privacy and cookie policies apply when you open those pages.

7. Retention and security

We retain account data while the account is active and for periods needed to provide the service, resolve incidents, meet legal duties or defend claims. We use HTTPS, secure authentication, access controls and per-user data separation, although no Internet service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent by emailing info@skeilapps.com. We may verify your identity. EEA users may also complain to their competent supervisory authority.

9. Children and changes

DeyNews is intended for adults and business users. We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change and will publish the current version here.
